Most important finishing technologies available

SKT can also finish components on request. Although we do not have the complete repertoire of finishing options, we do have the most important finishing techniques at our disposal, so that we can apply logos, barcodes or QR codes, for example.

Possible technologies

Tampon printing
Imprinted using a flexible silicone pad. Ideal for flat as well as uneven, curved or complex surfaces. Main application: Logos, lettering, decorations.
Advantages: High precision, flexible for small to medium quantities, suitable for almost all plastics.
Inkjet printing
Can be printed on almost all plastics. Multi-colored, detailed prints possible. Variable data coding possible for e.g. serial numbers, barcodes or QR codes.
Thermal printing
Can be printed on almost all plastics. Clear, sharp print quality. Particularly suitable for small fonts, numbers, barcodes, QR codes. Variable data coding possible for e.g. serial numbers. Color limitation to usually one color.

Packaging
With the right packaging, components are not only properly packed and protected from damage. Also important: avoidance of empty space, space-saving, stackability and storability or, for example, antistatic agents.
Warehousing
For maximum preservation of material properties and functionality: storage in a climate-controlled environment with protection against moisture absorption, protection against UV light, ideal shelving systems to avoid excessive pressure when stacking.
JIT deliveries
Ideal for all those who want to minimize their own storage effort and storage costs and at the same time want more efficiency and flexibility, i.e. shorter throughput times.
